Grand place for a Grand pee!

Grand Teton summit - Grand Teton National Park, Wyoming
Either for an overnight or a long car to car trip, summiting the Grand Teton is to say the least a "grand" experience.  With views of the Wyoming planes to the East, and Idaho's Jedidiah Smith wilderness to the West, the views are the best of the land.

Thanks to this bad-ass in the picture, I was fortunate to summit last year.  We did the car to car option, starting the hike at around two in the morning with the summit at one in the afternoon.  We did the Wallstreet to Upper Exum route, but most climbers choose the Owen-Spalding route.  The descent was easier than the climb, and the promise of cold Pakos (arguably the best beer in the land) drove us to be even quicker.

Great Pee on a Great Day - Byers Peak, Colorado

What a day on top of Byers - Arapahoe National Forest, Colorado
Byers Peak, though it's not a 14er, offers some amazing views of the surrounding Colorado peaks.  The tallest peak in the Arapahoe forest is a great spot for a 6 hour day hike or some late season back country skiing.  See the attached Summit Post link for great description of trail access.

Thanks Mary for the amazing panoramic!

Rustlin' for Some Pee on Rustler's Loop

What's better than Colorado you might ask?... Mountain biking in Colorado is the correct answer, and when you don't have the extra hour to sneak all the way to Moab, Fruita kicks just as much ass!  This is a trail accessible from the Loma exit, and offers one damn amazing place to get some rock wet!

Remember when life gives you lemons, mountain bike all over them!

That Butt Has Gotta Be Cold at 14,270 Feet

Thanks to a placesivepeed reader, this amazing picture was captured on the top of Grey's Peak, one of Colorado's too many to count 14ers Grey's is a fairly easy hike, and can be combined by saddle to the nearby Torreys Peak, allowing you to knock out two birds with one stone! For that extra thrill you can follow some crazies, and hang glide off the top for a quick return to your car.

This picture also marks PIP's first 14er picture, throwing out a challenge to the readers for a picture on all 53 14ers. Thanks Kim for being the bomb dot com...only 52 to go!

Buffalo Creek Peein'

Fruit Punch fueled MTB romp and pee - Buffalo Creek - Pike National Forest, Colorado
Just an hour from the Denver metro area, Buffalo Creek has some of the most fun, and fast trail riding in the area.  The area has several loops, that when interconnected can span 40 miles, allowing riders to choose how long they want to romp.  Thanks to this placesivepeed user, these trails will be a little tackier for the riders to come!

Relaxin' with Good ol' Jedediah Smith

Wienering Towards Hurricane Pass - Alaska Basin - Jedediah Smith Wilderness, Wyoming
Fun Fact: Jedediah Smith Wilderness kicks serious ass!  Offering amazing Teton views, rock jumping into nearby Mirror lake, and awesome wildlife, nothing beats the trail system on the border of Idaho and Wyoming.  The area is accessible by traveling East out of Driggs, Idaho towards Alta, Wyoming, with parking at the Teton Canyon trail head.  The area connects to the much busier Teton National Park, promising some of the most scenic pees spots in North America.

Special: Places My Dog Peed

Doggy Takin' a Squirt - Mt. Bierstadt, Colorado
"After freezing our balls off overnight at the base, the doggy and I had a beautiful day for a ski tour up Bierstadt. Touring is thirsty work, even for a puppy. Between us we went through a gallon of water in a few hours and when a dog drinks a dog pees. Here's a candid shot of him in the buff taking a tinkle on the way up the mountain."

Thanks David for submission!

A big thanks to the four sisters celebrating their mothers 92nd birthday, and Mother's Day for submitted this picture.

Summit to Sunset in Labuan

Pee following the summit of the tallest "mountain" in Labuan, Malaysia
If you're into scuba diving and snorkeling Malaysia has a lot to offer, with several ship wreck and reefs to feast your eyes on.  Hiking is an entirely different story.  The island used to be covered in trails around the 70s, but since the automobile and motorbike were popularized most of the trails have grown over.  There seems to be only one trail still in use today.  On the NW side of the island there is an awesome loop that takes 30 minutes to complete (counter-clockwise).  Offering two river crossings and a summit of Labuan's tallest "mountain," this trail is the best this tiny island can offer for epic pee spots.

New Zealand Peein', Gillespie Pass Circuit

The River Crossing Towards Young's Hut - Gillespie Pass Circuit - Mt. Aspiring National Park, New Zealand
Like Kepler, Gillespie Pass was another stunning two night adventure in the New Zealand wild.  There are several huts up the valley that offer refuge, with little use in the fall.  The trail can either be accessed by jet boat, helicopter, plane, or a good old fashioned river crossing.  Being the cheapskates we are the river crossing was the most sensible.  The trail runs along the Young river outlet towards the first hut.  The trail is what New Zealand DOC considers "bush," but is very well marked and used.
Nice Basin for a Nice Pee - Bottom of Gillespie Pass - Gillespie Pass Circuit- Mt. Aspiring National Park, New Zealand
After a night in the hut it was off to the basin under Gillespie Pass.  Waterfalls and amazing rock formations, offered some of the best views for the day.  There is no need for the use of water filters in New Zealand, which makes peeing that much more enjoyable... knowing that it is a straight glacial piss.  Gillespie pass was another story, that if unprepared would have some people peeing their pants.  Angles of 60 degrees or more the whole way up made this summit in many ways more grueling than Colorado's 14ers.
Markin' the Territory - Gillespie Pass Circuit - Mt. Aspiring National Park, New Zealand
The hard work payed off with amazing views of the surrounding mountains. Overall a great backpacking route. Offering amazing views and a great trail make this an amazing place to relieve ones self.

New Zealand Peein', Kepler Track

Peein' at the point - Kepler Track - Near Te Anau, New Zealand
New Zealand offers some of the best scenery in the world, and with that some of the best pees to be had.  The Kepler Track is one of New Zealand's "Great Walks," and offers a 60km loop that can easily be done in two nights.  Packing some local IPA bombers to the huts gave fuel to some of the most stunning pisses in the history of human existence.

Giving back to nature - Bonneville Salt Flats, Utah
When roadtripping dead head for a GNAR powder weekend amongst Tahoe's shredible peaks there is no more satisfying pee spot than Utah's Salt Flats.

Peein' on the Petit Grepon

On top of the Petit Grepon in Rocky Mountain National Park. A great place to take a pee. The Petit can be seen in the picture below. To approach this climb hike to Sky Pond and you will see it uphill to the right. This particular piss was fueled by tap water from Boulder that was put into Nalgenes and carried up the entire climb.

Pee Spot from the Blog Top

Clear water at Kuraman Island - Sabah, Malaysia
If ever in Malaysia, Kuraman Island offers several amazing peeing spots.  Located off of Labuan, the island is part of a marine park that is nearly abandoned.  Water taxis are cheap and the water is amazingly clear.  Making the island perfect for a day of snorkeling and soaking up the sun.  This specific pee was fueled by San Miguel and Tiger, two of the most common beers on the area.

Peeing in the Big Hole Range - Horseshoe Trail system - Idaho
Teton Valley, Idaho has tons of great hiking/MTB trails which offer some of the most scenic peeing spots in the Midwest.  Following this, the bladder was replenished with a couple Double Bitch Creek pints from Teton Brewing.
